I am Ann Erickson Gault, the Oakland County Commissioner for District 3 representing Hazel Park, Madison Heights, and part of Troy. I am running to serve another term and humbly ask that you support me in the August 6, 2024, primary election.

 

Ann’s Experience and Qualifications

• Appointed to the Oakland County Commission in November 2023 to the seat formerly held by the late Gary McGillivray

• Oakland County Parks Commissioner

• Former member of Troy City Council, 2019-2023

• Attorney for more than 25 years

• Past Chair of the Troy Democratic Club

• Team Captain with 2017 Voters Not Politicians initiative to end gerrymandering

• Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan

• Graduate of Manchester University and University of Toledo College of Law

 

Ann’s Background

• Born and raised in Manistee, Michigan

• Troy resident since 2004, and Oakland County resident since 1997

• Married to Tom Gault, a GM analyst, and mother to Eleanor Gault, a Troy Athens graduate

• Proud daughter of a Steelworkers Union member
