Restoring Trust in City Government
Many residents know me from when I filed the FOIA request to demand that City Council make the report about our former City Manager's wrongdoing public. I did this because Troy residents deserve good government. As a lawyer, I am committed to act responsibly and ethically. The residents of Troy should be able to expect that same kind of ethical, responsible and fair leadership from their City Council. I will ensure integrity on City Council by promoting the adoption of higher ethical standards and insisting on full transparency. I will always do the right thing, even when it’s not the easy thing.

Preserving Green Space
My goal is to balance new development and growth with preserving green space, eliminating traffic congestion and noise pollution, and maintaining our infrastructure. Residents tell me Troy needs smart development that considers our need to grow, as well as our need to preserve our existing neighborhoods, parks and green space. Development should be within the character of our City and done with the input of residents.

Maintaining a High Quality of Life
My husband and I chose Troy to live in 15 years ago because it’s a safe city. It has great schools and resources. We wanted to live in a community where neighbors know each other’s names and share each other’s values. I want to make sure Troy stays that way. I will protect our cherished community spaces such as our library, community center, and parks, and I will fully support the men and women of our public safety departments.

Working for and Listening to You
The decisions made by city government directly impact your life and your family. When I’m knocking doors, voters tell me they are looking for a city council that represents their interests and take consideration of their opinions. A major part of being a lawyer is hearing and attending to my clients concerns. At my core, I’m a listener and I’m an advocate. I promise to be accessible, to listen, and to take your concerns seriously.
